Let’s say you want to zoom in on an object during your video slowly. The next keyframe in the video signifies another state. ![]() The first keyframe in your timeline indicates the initial state of your film. These markers that you place to signify start and endpoints are called keyframes. If you want to add an animation or transition effect to your video, you will need to specify when the movement starts and ends. This filling-in creates the illusion of continuity between the still images of each keyframe marker. Keyframing is the process of indicating the beginning and end of a specific animation and allowing your editing program to fill in the transition between these two points. Read ahead to learn everything you need to know about keyframing, then download PowerDirector to begin using this editing technique yourself. We’ve put together this guide to help you learn all about keyframes and how to use them to elevate your videos. Once you know the basics of keyframes, keyframe interpolation, keyframe interval, and keyframe animation, you can use these techniques to create custom animations and transitions in just a few seconds. ![]() ![]() Using keyframes may sound intimidating, but programs like PowerDirector make it easy to learn how to use these editing tools to your advantage. Placing two keyframes several seconds apart will create a keyframe interval that tells your editing program that you want your clip to transition from one state to another state in the specified amount of time. Keyframes are the markers or anchor points that video editors use to indicate how they want their video to look at a specific time. One of the cool video effects that editors use to elevate their videos is keyframing. With modern video editing programs you can manipulate video footage and create high-quality, Hollywood-style clips with just a few clicks of a button.

And there are even clever roof bars which can convert into a roof rack of their own, for the storage of bikes and roof boxes. The cabin is pretty sparsely fitted out in the case of lower-trim models, in which there's simply a built-in smartphone holder for in-car entertainment and navigation - but upper-level ones offer fitted touchscreen system and factory navigation as standard. ![]() Yes the Dacia is built in Romania, but there’s a loping, easy-going vibe about the Jogger that’s reminiscent of parent brand Renault’s comfier offerings. The steering is accurate and despite comical levels of body roll when pushing on the Jogger clings on tenaciously. Ride and handling are every bit as capable as you’d expect, with the longish travel suspension doing a decent of soaking away pockmarked surfaces. However, in the real world it is barely any faster or more frugal than the 1.0-litre, so unless you must have a hybrid then we’d stick to the standard car. Performance is a little stronger (but not much), while the automatic-only gearbox option will appeal to many. There’s also now the option of the 1.6-litre petrol-electric hybrid (essentially the Renault E-TECH system), which delivers 138bhp and some eye-catching fuel economy figures. Its bubbly energy takes a hit when you’re seven-up and fully loaded, but you’ll always be able to keep up with the flow. Outright performance is pretty modest, but also more than adequate, the thrummy three-cylinder delivering reasonable torque for mid-range hauling, while a tall top gear serves-up economical long-distance driving. The Jogger shares its model platform with the Dacia Sandero supermini (which in turn is based on the latest Renault Clio) as well as its 1.0-litre, 109bhp petrol engine. In fact, you’re arguably better off without them. Others are more glamorous, faster and offer greater technological geegaws, yet drive the Jogger and you’ll realise that you don’t need any of these extras. It offers five decent-sized seats and a couple of more kiddy-sized ones in the boot, but the latter can easily be lifted out entirely when you've got big loads to carry. Sure the Jogger isn't the biggest, cleverest or most versatile car in its class, but once you get down to brass tacks you’ll discover that it’s arguably all the car your growing brood really needs. Yet there’s so much more to this versatile machine than its bargain basement price. A genuine seven-seat family car you can buy for less than £15,000, the Romanian people carrier truly is a car for our times. The cost of living crisis isn’t getting any easier for families, which is why the existence of the Dacia Jogger is great news for buyers on a budget. So, here’s our 10 favourite people movers. What roles do social media play in the fan relationship? Our analysis identifies specific groups of fans, by their demographics, their newcomer/repeat visitor status, and their reports on how and why they chose to engage in fan-related activities while at Bluesfest. This research utilises university media students to query festival participants about their engagement in these participatory activities and their perspective on ‘being a fan’. Through such activities, festival participants signal their legitimacy as fans and, often via social media, their membership of a larger cohort of fans. While fandom is an elusive concept, it may be partially measured through several indicators: buying artist merchandise, queuing for CD signing and/or photos, and attending musicians’ Q&A sessions. Crucially, as part of the live music experience, the music festival enables ticketholders to engage in activities vital to being a fan. This article explores how fans of prolific touring artists U2 and Tori Amos undertake this, with assigned concert attendees tweeting the set-list to online fans, where they gather to enjoy the show together, from the comfort of their computers.Įach Easter, outside the iconic beachside town of Byron Bay, thousands of music fans converge for Bluesfest – a five-day blues and roots festival where international musicians from rock, blues and roots traditions perform alongside rising local talent, as well as some of the more eclectic musicians from Australia and the rest of the world. It demonstrates how these online tools are involving fans that are not physically present at the show, seemingly incorporating them into the real-time “live” experience. ![]() This study examines the responses of fans engaged in this activity, identifying the key themes and patterns apparent within this behaviour, arguing that fans are using social media and mobile technology in an effort to contest and reshape the boundaries of live music concerts. It has not only allowed fans to find and connect with each other at shows, but also to tweet and text concert set-lists and other information as they happen, thereby allowing non-attendees around the world to feel part of the event. In recent years, the expansion and use of mobile Internet and social media have changed live music engagement and fandom quite considerably. Moreover, it questions whether Facebook platform has a lasting future as the leading online platform for music related activity. This leads to debates that question the user and music artist's benefits of following bands on Facebook other than for news updates. Therefore, the function is at odds with the rhetoric of Facebook as the leading platform for participation and community building. Facebook Pages experience low levels of fan-to-fan engagement which suggests they cannot be identified as online communities. Whilst some artists undertake more active and personal roles to updates, the results indicate that Facebook Pages function in a similar vein to newsletters than online forums. Facebook Pages for music artists experience low-levels of engagement between fans. Analysis was conducted by one researcher over a period of 7 days. Content and thematic analysis of Facebook Walls for the Pages of 9 UK based music bands of varying size and scale - from major, emerging and local unsigned artists. This involved taking the artists respective popularity into account against the relational likelihood of user contribution. Facebook's perceived reputation of harbouring interactivity would be tested by appraising the artist's social media approach, the resultant levels of fan engagement and also the evidence of a self-sufficient online community. The central aim is to test whether it is misleading to suppose that a Facebook Page will enhance artist fandom, in terms of growth, devotion and loyalty. It is now commonplace for most music artists to host a Facebook Page, and in some cases, it even replaces an actual website as their official online platform (as with my band). This led me to question whether this was true for other music artists on Facebook. I began to question whether our Facebook followers could be defined as an online community having observed that fan-to-fan interaction was practically non-existent. The study was driven by personal experience of managing my own band's Facebook Page. The research aims to explore whether Facebook Pages can be considered as online communities. This study aims to examine whether Facebook Pages offer music artists the ideal platform to expand their fanbase and develop an active, engaging and interactive online fandom. ![]() ![]() Immerse yourself in an atmosphere of dread and anticipation as you navigate the ever-changing maze, surrounded by the unknown.Īre you ready to face the darkness together, or will you succumb to the horrors that await? Now it is a much more natural process for me to be able to take pretty photos as I go without having to change locations. I used to have to stage food and product photos in other parts of the house. Not only is cooking in this kitchen delightful, but working here is so much easier and more natural. The back porch overhang is the perfect filter for pretty light through these windows. Most of my photos for the blog and store are taken right here. This is the baking corner that looks to the backyard. You will see as I go through the post, it changed a bit when we unpacked and as we continue to live and work in the space. I posted it here with more details on the layout and cabinetry design. This was the original plan for how I would organize my kitchen. Let me know if I missed something! Take a tour of our entire house (in progress…) here. I tried to include everything, but I’m sure I left something out. All of the resources are listed at the end of the post. While the entire kitchen is “white on white” we added warmth through the creamy paint color (Navajo White), brass, marble and warm wood island top to make it feel homey and warm. It feels cozy on a Sunday morning, but is big and open enough to handle a large party, too. I love that the finishes are polished enough to feel elegant, but the warmth makes it feel little country-cottagey, too. I’m glad we splurged where we did, and I’m glad we saved where we could. Thankfully, I don’t have any regrets when it comes to our kitchen (or the rest of the house). We often look around at our kitchen now and say, there were probably one thousand decisions made in this one room. When we were designing the kitchen (and the rest of the house), I remember being very overwhelmed by all of the decisions to be made. Sorry : ) I often get emails asking about the details of our design and I thought it would be easier if I had one nice post to direct everyone with questions. ![]() I’ve been meaning to write this post since we moved into our new kitchen last summer. |
